Bottled, 33 cl. Pours nearly black with a creamy and lasting tan head on its top. Nose of chocolate and dried fruits. Aroma containing caramel, chocolate and dried fruits, mouthfeel is thick. Long, dry and warming finish escorted distinctly by licorice and grapefruit. Pretty good.

Pours wit a clear, deep black color, topped with a good-looking cream colored head. Also, nice retention. Aroma is malty and slightly roasty. The taste is very bitter along with quite some roastiness and coffee in the end. Drinkable but very strong taste.

Bottle. A reddish dark brown beer topped by a small, dark beige head. Nice lacings. The aroma has some burnt, roasted notes, but overall it’s a tad weak. Dried fruits, roasted malts, some burnt notes and a sweetness in the flavor. Full body, soft carbonation, semi-sweet. Lasting finish with sweetness, dried fruits and roasted malts. A pretty decent one, not overly exciting, but nice anyway. 140418

Black, tight persistent beige head. Nice estery roasty aroma, but even better in the taste. Covers 8% well. Smooth and full. Lovely stout.

Almost black with beige head. Strange: the aroma and the taste remember me, for some strange reason, the Grimbergen dubbel, but with some chocolate/coffee ending. Good.

RW80 (349) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 30, 2014
bottle, 330 ml Appearance::black with a mid-sized beige foamy head. Aroma: roasted malts, coffee, , hint of biscuit Taste: Nice roasted bitterness from the malts, some coffee, some slight biscuit notes. Aftertaste is nice bitter with light dark chocolate notes Medium body (good drinkable), average carbonation. Good allround stout , I would clearly pick this one over the Maximus Stout 6. Which is not as refined as this one.
