COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the”Dreimaischverfahren“(a brewing process) from selected dark malt, our Aiblinger Schwarzbier contrasts with every other dark by the typically fine-spicy malt aroma and the lightly rounded taste. The well-balanced bitter from the BIERART: Dunkel Export Münchner Brauart

Hallertauer aromatic hop creates a wholehearted and, nevertheless, not too sweet taste. A traditional, dark bier, created as it once was, in the finest breweries of Bavaria. The Aiblinger Schwarzbier has been awarded the DLG gold for many years. 12.5°

Not a Schwartzbier. Really is more of a Dunkel. Amazing! Pours a perfect chestnut brown in a .5L Kozel dimpled mug. Towering head, lots of lacing. Aromas of pure malted barley, sweet, fruity. Flavor is perfect. Layers of grain, caramel, and earthy hops. Light body, yet so complex. Perfect. German.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and plums in the aroma. Caramel and a hint of roast in the sweetish flavor. Fairly well balanced, clean mouthfeel.

Beautiful deep chestnut colour, clear, thin white head; lightly toasted malt aroma; rounded malty taste with a gentle caramel sweetness; grassy hops in the background; smooth and rather delicious, reminiscent of an unfashionable traditional West Country malty brown bitter on top form.

Pours a deep mahogany with off-white head. Toasted grains, chocolate, and caramel. Smells great, just what you want from a dark German. The taste is a little off, starts off sweet and grainy, but has a bitter (almost metallic finish). I think this one might have been sitting in the fridge a little bit too long. Will have to try it again fresh.

Appearance: dark brown, with some reddish notes and a khaki head. Aroma: dark malts, with some slightly grassy hops. Taste: toffee, caramel, slightly burnt toast, with a bit of candied nuts, with mellow, earthy hops in the back seat. Finish: smooth, dry, with lingering notes of slightly dusty, grassy hops. Notes: Felt much more like a dunkel than a schwarz, so it was nice to see it classified properly here. Not a bad dunkel at all. Slightly sweet, malty, and nutty, with a light enough palate to keep it drinkable.

500ml bottle. Copper-glinting chestnut with a plump beige foam. Aroma rich and attractive with plummy, sticky liquorice, muscovado sugar and malt loaf tones. Soft, caramel-draped maltiness with dark stone fruit, Nutella-spread toasted black bread and chewy but still juicy prune-like impressions. Pipette of Bovril. Fine malty brew.

Lightly sweet, toffee and dark fruit nose. Lightly sweet taste, lightly bitter with light toffee, some herbs, a hint of golden fruit and raisins. Nicely done.
