Schlossbrauerei Maxlrain brews an especially festive beer for the Advent and Christmas season. The brew master carefully oversees creation of this noble libation. Through a mixture of selected bright and dark malts, the Maxlrainer Märzen acquires its distinctive full-bodied taste and delightfully amber-colored appearance. Maxlrainer Märzen is a must for every festively decorated table in Gasthäusern and at home.

The beer starts malty, slightly grainy with hints of sweetish malt. The mainpart is sweetish-grainy, a bit unround. The aftertaste is long, sweetish-grainy and slightly malty. --> 7/10/8/7

Bottle 0.5l. Pours clear amber with small off white head. Aroma is slightly sour, metallic, malty. Taste is medium sweet, lightly bitter, caramel. Boring. Another example of a so called Festbier without much character.

12.12.12(Flasche):fester,cremiger und beständiger Schaum, kupferfarben, klar. Süßliche Getreidenote, ebenfalls mit dabei Karamell, Honig. Macht schonmal Appetit. Leckeres Festbier

Mortlach (1022) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 7, 2012
07/06/2012 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Corpo medio-basso, carbonazione corretta. Birra meravigliosa, di grande beva e tanta sostanza.
