COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Maxlrainer Leo Weisse (wheat beer)) receives its full character by the traditional, in house, top-fermented yeast. Connoisseurs appreciate the delightful weißbier aroma as soon as the beer is opened. Aged in the brewery’s cellar, the Leo Weisse is unfiltered and is bottled with its cloudy appearance in the cellar. It therefore contains all the good and nutritional elements of malt and yeast. Leo White is a refreshing beer specialty, which can be served at every occasion throughout the year.

Idiosynkrasie (3910) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2014
500ml bottle. Hazy dark golden colour with aveage to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, grey-ish white head. Wheaty, fruity aroma, hints of banana, cautious yeasty overtones, cautious hints of sweet mustard. Taste is minimally tart fruity, slightly sweet wheat malty, slightly bready, hints of sweet mustard, a very cautious touch of banana. Boring Hefeweizen overall; very interesting sweet mustard note deserves study and cultivation - extra point in favour.

Pours out of the bottle in a cloudy brownish colour with big head and medium body. Aroma of yeast and nuts. Taste of yeast, malt, bread, nuts, torf and overripe fruit salad. Very untasty and undelicious but drinkable though.
