Nice hops aroma. Light hazy golden color. Huge white head. Light sweet, light bitter, hoppy taste. Medium body. Good, typical czech minibrewery beer.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2013 Barva: jantarová, světlejší. Pěna řídká, okamžitě opadávající. Vůně: příjemná sladová s banánovým nádechem. Výrazně hořké pivo, se středně plným tělem a lehce kyselým pozadím. Nevyvážené pivo s "nespojenou" chutí, ve které převládá chmelová hořkost. Pravděpodobně se stala nějaká chyba při výrobě nebo skladování. Určitě ještě vyzkouším jinou várku....

Draft, at Sladovna House of Beers, listed as Pivo Sladovna. Clear amber body with large off-white head. Aroma is medium swwet, some grass, light lemon. Taste is medium sweet, grass/straw, some lager lemon, light biscuit. Fairly bitter. Light-medium body, light effervescence.

My Bottom Line:
Orange-y hop resins and lightly toasted malts make for a drinkable but puzzling Svetly interpretation.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the misty amber.
-This bottle was lightly oxidized. Pair that with Julien’s bottle which was apparently without carbonation (both were bought at the same time) and you understand that this brewery is still coming to terms with their bottling mechanism.
-Carbonation was soft and prickly. No issues in my bottle on that front.
-The hop signature was somehow different from the usual Saaz’s. Fruitier and more resinous.
-Light butterscotch was apparent.

PET bottle I brought home from CZ. Dark hazy gold pour, ne head no matter how violently we poured it. Really honey forward, light leafy hops, pretty heavy on the caramel aromas and flavors. light menthol notes. Flavor has some mineral notes as well. Palate is quite dry, light carbonation. Drinkable, but a bit of a letdown.

On tap at Hostinec Richtár Jakub. Clear golden colour, medium white head. Aroma hops, hints of floral, medium malty. Taste light heavy bitter hops, grass, earthy. Pleasant bitter finish. Good one.

Tap at Hostinec Richtar Jakub. Dark golden color with huge white head. Aroma of malt and Saaz hops. Taste, starts sweet with malt, than continues with yeast, nice Saaz hops bitterness in finish. Good example of style.
