A landmark amber ale following the footsteps of Admiral May who reputedly used the trees on May Hill to navigate ships up the Severn. Crafted with Maris Otter malt and balanced with Crystal malt to provide richness, this ale has fruity overtones created by Fuggles and Northdown late hops. Admiral May has a distinctive fresh taste that lingers after each sip.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned at Rugby Beer Fest ’12. Amber with white head. An odd beer this one, I had sweetish caramel with a background chocolate note, not strong but there and then a plum like flavour, quite juicy. Reasonable, but still odd.
