COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boro Blonde from Mayday Brewery is a beer not unlike your best friend’s younger sister. You know, the sexy one with a hook for a hand that loves to take late night joy rides and smoke her father’s cigarettes. Her skin, like the beer, emits a light citrus aroma with a touch of fruit (thanks to the Glacier and Crystal hops with a twist of New Zealand hops), and her body is too nice to be spoken of in front of any of her family members. Unlike his sister, Boro Blonde is legal and won’t put your eye out after a taste.

On draft in Nashville. Very little aroma, and probably in keeping with the style... Very little of any particular taste. On the plus side, there’s nothing to complain about. A very simple beer that’s perfect if you desire something lightly hopped that goes down easy.

Aroma: citrusy and almost sour; not expected in a blonde; Appearance: hazy golden pour with white head that dissipates slowly; Taste: orangy and spicy (coriander?) but still a blonde; not my favorite.

Draft at The Flying Saucer, Nashville. Very murky orange/golden hue with a white head. Aroma is mild citrus, malt, and spice. Taste is bread, malt, citrus, and spice, though every flavor comes off as very bland. Has a strange, faintly sour finish.

Orange cloudy pour, thin white head. Creamy texture, not like a typical blonde. A little floral on the tongue but a malted, smooth finish.

Take your grain of salt, this is not my style. Hop saves the palate, but otherwise comes off like a typical blonde. A little zest, some sweetness, finish is rough.

A nice blonde beer. Sweet good mouthfeel. Malty not bitter but light bite. Very good head. Good to over carbed. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Flying Saucer. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of hay, white pepper, light citrus. Taste is crisp and lightly peppery. Light body. A good example of the style.

Loved this local brew, smooth and very easy to drink. Massive quantities can easily be drunk..

Not bad, definitely a session beer. Nicely crisp and a bit thin (which is ok here) , and enough flavor to keep it interesting. Decently hoppy, as well, with a little bit citrus. Tasty. On tap, Flying Saucer, Nashville.
