COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When was the last time you found yourself trapped under the surface of the dark sea, entwined in the tendrils of the unseen forces of nature? With Evil Octopus, a black beer loaded with 8 hop additions (one for each leg of this magnificent beast), taste the inky black goodness that only the mouth of danger can provide, as you and the Evil Octopus mount an attack on your taste buds, coating them with a splash of currant, that heavenly floral aroma, and a 6.2% ABV that reminds you why dressed up like a pirate this morning.

Growler. Aroma: Caramel and chocolate malts, with hints of floral hops. Appearance: Inky black, with thick tan head. Taste: Light-medium sweetness with light bitterness. Very well balanced. Palate: Full body, thick, slick texture, lively carbonation, long finish. Overall: This is a very solid beer. A little hoppy in the finish, but not overwhelming. Very tasty and something that I would seek out again.

Medium dark coffee brown that has the perfect balance of malt and hops. There is a smooth coffee/toffee taste with a wonderful citrus grapefruit flavor that works amazingly well. One of the best Black IPA’s I have had and possibly the best beer brewed in Middle Tennessee! Try this.

Called a Black IBA. This hopped up black ale is tremendously balanced with just the right amount of malt presence. Great Hop lingering after a few sips. Possibly Maydays best brew.

Draft sampler pours black with a off white head. Aroma of roaster malt, citrus, and floral. Taste is the malts, and nice hops.
