«Die Staufer und Italien. Reiss-Engelhorn-Museen Mannheim». Mehr Informationen zu dem Namen dieses Bieres finden sich leider nicht auf dem Etikett. Sucht man im Internet, findet sich eine gleichnamige Ausstellung in beschriebenem Museum vom 19. September 2010 bis 20. Februar 2011. Ich denke, das Bier wurde zu diesem Anlass gebraut! Vielen Dank an "Lilo's Durstigen Fuchs", der mir dieses Bier mitgebracht hat. Die Farbe ist goldgelb mit einem ganz feinen Hauch von Trübung. Das "naturtrüb" vom Etikett hätte ich mir stärker vorgestellt... Der Geruch ist süßlich-seifig, der Schaum feinporig und weiß. Im Antrunk ist dieses Bier sehr mild. Ansonsten - nichts! Keinerlei Aromen wahrnehmbar! Ganz leicht süßlich. Zum Hauptteil kommt ein ganz wenig Hauch von gerstenmalztypischer Note angeflogen, der mit einem Hauch von Seife in den Nachgeschmack mündet - des ausgeprägtesten Teil dieses Bieres. Er gibt sich leicht malzsüßlich, leicht seifig mit einem Hauch von Herbe. Auf der Zunge verbleibt eine mittellang anhaltende süßlich-malzige Note, die insgesamt aber doch sehr angenehm wirkt. --> Komisches Bier. Nicht wirklich viel Geschmack und die seifige Grundnote stört doch durchaus. (Test vom 1.2.2011) --> 12,3,9,9,12,6 - 7,35

Cloudy pale blond color. The aroma is a bit corny. There is a vague malt flavor, and a strong hopping, with very light hop qualities; the final is a bit metallic, and very bitter. Better than the average commercial Lager, but not exciting.

Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, sour malt notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20101211]

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks fiulijn for giving me this.
