Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares dunkel goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack würzig, malzig, leicht bitter hopfig.

Grima (2089) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - NOV 6, 2012
The beer in the glass is strong golden yellow with a fine, long lasting head. It smells grainy and bready, pleasant hoppy, malty and subtly sweet. Starts hoppy and grainy, full-bodied, with subtle bitter note in the background. The middle part is hoppy-bitter, slightly grainy and malty in the background. Goes into a hoppy-bitter finish with some grain and sweet malt notes!

pivnizub (8800) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 27, 2012
Bouteille: Light amber coloured, small but stable off-white foamy layer, mild to moderate toasty nose with a touch of vegetables and faint metallic traces; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied and quite soft; mild sweetish-malty and slightly bitter finish. Quite well drinkable stuff with an odd aroma. Helau...

MoritzF (8464) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 3, 2012
(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Rather discreet aroma with delicate notes of cara-malt and a whiff of herbal hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy on the tongue. Dry cara-malty base with herbal hops from the beginning; dry, bitter and slightly sweet cara-malty finish. Dry, hoppy and easy-going, probably the right brew for Fastnacht. 16.II.12

Angenehm getreidiger Duft. Startet süßlich-getreidig. Mitte süßliche Grundstimmung mit malzigen Tönen. Abgangs frisch-getreidig, malzwürzig. Moderat bitterer Nachhall. Gut.

EithCubes (4838) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 26, 2012
Bottle. Gradient orange with a sudsy off-white head. A little grain and cracker, sightings of far-off citrus, a touch of alcohol to numb the tip. Caramel with straw and chunky hops, bitterness stronger than is usual for this type and sweetness much weaker, some really nice earthy fullness. Medium-full body, crisp but heavy.

Quack-Duck (7794) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 18, 2012
bottle from Bierzwerg. Golden amber colour, perhaps slightly hazy, large off-white head. Medium-bodied, solid malty body with shy hints of caramel and a nice dry, hoppy finish with some nice aromatic and bitter hops.
