This stuff is great. While touring Boston I wanted to try some local beers but couldn’t stop ordering this one.

Tasty and not overpowering IPA. Floral hops, dark golden coloure body with ample off-white head. The IBU is right there and the Pacific Nothwest provides a break from the usual C-hops. The palate is shaken and stirred, and not shredded. Good drinkability. Thanks Jay.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2011 On tap. Strong citrus / grapefruit flavors in the initial taste. Then comes hop flavor followed by a bitter aftertaste. The bitterness lasted a bit too long for my preference which was the only real downside to this beer.

i used to get mad at east coast brewers for brewing "english ipa’s". leave the malt heavy versions to the limey’s and lets kick up the hops american style! but now i dont care so much, its fine, not going to surprise anyone.

Draft at Get Real NY Cask Ale Event with Linh, Streets, Andrew, and Brendan. Had one on one with Baby Streets - a decent IPA from a brewery I’ve never encountered previously. Got to try two versions of this - dry-hopped with citra and one with amarillo.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
In a traditional pint glass, had a nice look to it but not much of a head to it at all. What was there was white that didn’t really stick around too long. Despite that, it actually had some very nice lacing that lasted through the entire session. It was a nice amber color with almost perfect clarity. It smelled very good, had some nice citrus/floral notes to it, you can tell at this point it’s already going to be a nice hoppy beer. The tast matches up with the smell. Nice and hoppy. Very citrusy as well, kinda grapefruity, but not overlesming, really excellent taste to it, burps up nice, good aftertaste. Mouthfeel was very good too, not much of a carbination bite. Very drinkable, very refreshing. This is a really good IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(12oz bottle). Pours copper with off-white head that quickly disappears. Nice carbonation. Aroma has some dank hops, but also some bright grapefruit and mango. Taste is semi-sweet and bitterness. Nicely balanced. Thin bodied with slick/oily texture. Finish is pleasantly bitter, but the malts are still there. Nice IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, tropical fruit, pineapple, tangerine, and a hint of diacetyl. Poured amber in color with a small, rocky, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Very sparkling. Flavor light to medium sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, tropical fruit, tangerine, slight crystal malt, and citrus. Medium body. Thinish texture. Average carbonation. Hop, malt, tangerine, and citrus finish. 7%ABV is completely hidden throughout.
