2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle poured an orange amber color with a one finger white head that retained very well. Aroma has mild pale malts, light hops, and some dusty citrus. Mouth feel is average for the style and there is plenty of carbonation. Flavor is mostly malts with a touch of bitterness and dusty aged hops.

A bit too watery and bland. Nothing sticks out. The color is on the dark side for a pale ale.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Poured bottle with nice white head. Decent malt aroma but darker than expected color. Taste was thin, with no discernable impact. Beer finished bitterly without giving a sense of hops. Disappointing.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I hate when pale ales arent pale. This is a flavorless english amber with not much going on at all. Very watery and lightly hopped with slightly spicy hops. Mediocre at best.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2013 Seems out of style. It’s not terrible but the malt is very assertive. Taste almost more like a lager. A bit watery too.

Bottle from Mayflower Compact Variety pack. Picked up in P-Town. Clear deep golden pour, fluffy white head. Aroma of faint citrus and clean hops. The flavor is a bit spicy, simple, fruity, resin, with a crisp bitter finish. Feels a bit sticky on the finish. Simple, lacking depth. Good for the style.
