3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned at The White Hart, Headington, Oxford. Gold with white head. This was quite light on the palate but crisp enough, there was a biscuit note about it and a hint of sweetness. The hops are lightly used, struggled to come up with the gooseberry, kiwi, grape character of Nelson Sauvin. Reasonable but rather restrained.

Bright golden colour with a rich white head. Typical Nelson Sauvin ale with bucket loads of tropical fruit on the nose. Taste a bit one dimensional as grapefruit all the way. Still nice tho.

Cask conditioned Gravity dispense Northants BF 2010. A bright golden coloured beer. A lovely hoppy nose to this one. I thought there might be some Motueka as well as the NS as it seemed a little bit more mellow than pure Sauvin. Good citrus in the mouth and nice bitterness. Obvious New Zealand hops. The taste is good but the nose really is tops.

Cask handpump at FFTMC Oxford, 17-04-10 Pours a little more light amber than gold, but then I was quick to transfer into my tankard, it was a big day of Morris lets not forget, so didnít check again there was a white filmy head on top. The hops are really lacking here, were they added with a thimble? moderately fruity, some citrus and grapefruit in particular is noticeable, bit tangy also sweet. Absolutely fine and an enjoyable beer, just not as wonderously hoppy as I was hoping for. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4
