Light golden, small white foam. Light malty aroma hints of spicy hops. Quite dry flavour of grass and hops but the body is a bit thin. Thin grassy aftertaste.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2005 Bottled. Pale golden. Dry and bready with clean mouthfeel. Surprsingly crisp and hoppy, with striking late bitterness. A typical German style pilsener.

Blond color. The aroma is light and hoppy, not bad. The taste is dry, watery, quite bitter, poor; corn. Thanks Jens (Ungstrup) for this bottle.

Fine snow white head, clear golden body. Malt and hop aroma, quite heavy. Fresh hop flavor with a good bitterness. Metallic hints. A good pilsener.

Bottled: Pale golden coloured. White small head. Malt, sweetness, light hops and some fruits in the aroma. Flavour of grain, hops and light herbs. Has a nice sharp bitterness in the end, with a light sweet touch. Quite nice and surprisingly good.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2005 My first Balkan beer. This is brewed in Vojvodina though, which is more panonic than balkanic....whatever . So, what did I expect from our eastern neighbours....nothing much really, but I’m drinking this completely without bias. Typical pale lager look, pale yellow, quite carbonated, medium fluffy head. Nothing groundbreaking. Nose ? Dust, unpleasant malt, lemon. Interesting taste, but not in a god way grainy and watery, a bit stale. Suprisingly fine aftertaste (compared to the actual taste) - nice bitterness and lemon. Left me underwhelmed though. I expected a bit more really. What had me laughing was the label, which says "Brauerei MB", and "Pilsener Bier". Probably to trick the unwary into thinking that theyre buying and drinking something German. I wish they imported their Premium and Dunkel instead of this.

Pale yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma of malts and hops with a bit sweetness, and notes of citrus. The flavour is a bit watery, but dominated by hops. Nice bitter finish.

A friend bought me this back from Serbia, along with a couple of other Lagers. This proved the better of the lot. Poured into a Pils’ glass, it quickly formed a short dense white head, that webbed down the glass. Body was a pale translucent straw colour. Aroma let this beer down!, minimal malt sweetness faded into grassy hops, brine and egg yolks. In the mouth the beer was very spicy with bitter hops down the side, good mouth feel, minimal sweetness, spritzy carbonation and a short crisp aftertaste. No ’off’ flavours, but a let down for aroma (may have been the sample). Not a true Pilsner, but a decent Pale Lager, good for the Summer.

(Bottled, BBE 11/2004) Pale yellow color with small head. Slightly hoppy, buttery, saltwatery aroma. Sweetish, grassy-hoppy flavor with a lingering, bitter finish. Light-bodied, quite carbonated palate. Slightly unclean, light series pilsener. Not that bad, though.

Lager color, foamy white head. Hoppy nose. Taste is starting with grassy hops then turning sweetish. Nice bitter aftertaste.
