UPDATED: MAY 17, 2005 Bottled. Pale golden. Dry and bready with clean mouthfeel. Surprsingly crisp and hoppy, with striking late bitterness. A typical German style pilsener.

Once it came into production it was a fine beer but now they’ve screwed up the production technology. Golden colored with a nice head, malty flavor and metallic taste. Medium carbonation. Foul smell

clear golden-orange colour and a fast disappearing foam; discreetly herbal with notes of almonds; some tartness and a moderate malt body; moderately bitter and very dry finish; clean and short aftertaste - not bad at all

A friend bought me this back from Serbia, along with a couple of other Lagers. This proved the better of the lot. Poured into a Pils’ glass, it quickly formed a short dense white head, that webbed down the glass. Body was a pale translucent straw colour. Aroma let this beer down!, minimal malt sweetness faded into grassy hops, brine and egg yolks. In the mouth the beer was very spicy with bitter hops down the side, good mouth feel, minimal sweetness, spritzy carbonation and a short crisp aftertaste. No ’off’ flavours, but a let down for aroma (may have been the sample). Not a true Pilsner, but a decent Pale Lager, good for the Summer.

My first Serbian beer. It pours to a clear golden body with visible carbonation and a frothy, airy starch white head. The aroma is crisp and hoppy with Saaz and I think hallertauer. Clean silage and corn. Smells pretty decent. The flavor is pilsener malt and a light watery base with some typical hops. A touch thin. Falls off the tongue and isn’t as bitter as I’d expect. It’s not bad.

Land #52. Test vom 20.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,9,10,9,8,9 - 9,00

Yellow with a small white head. Pilsner malt dominates the aroma with grass and grain mostly. Rather sweet grainy flavour that could easily be improved with some hops. But it’s one of the better non-German German pilseners.
