Fin (2026), Merton, Oxfordshire, England May 6, 2008 750ml bottle from Londis Westholme stores, Goring on Thames, Oxon 03-05-08 Chesnut in clour with a large tan fluffy head. Yeast, malt and a slight soft sourness on the nose. Taste is sweet, malty and like a spicey toffeeness swirling around the mouth it gets a little sticky at times and as pleasant as it is I wish this bottle had of been a little smaller, nonetheless a decent beer.
BoBoChamp (277), Gent, Belgium Jul 20, 2008 75cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex scotch, hazy, good head, good brew, but not a topper TrefwoordPunk (358), Leiden, Netherlands Jul 19, 2008 Bottle 75 cl. Opened with a bang and about 25% of the beer gushed on the floor. Pours a very dark brown with a medium tan head with a malty and a bit sweet aroma. The taste is sweet caamel, malts and brown sugar, some fruits or the sweets my grandma used to give me in the end. Pretty good
popkow (31), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Jul 19, 2008 This product of Belgium poured a steady head of brown ale with a hue fo red. Brown ale touched with acholic notes and maybe one would say nears a scothc ale. An earthy coffee taste resonates. ogreface (144), Budapest, Hungary Jul 9, 2008 Mély vöröses barna,"csont fehér"kemény hab, malátás illat.Íze eleinte alkoholos, karamellásan édeskés és "erdei bogyós",gyümölcsös.Utána jön egy kellemes komlós kesernyésség és még egy kis gyümölcs.Kérek még! dkachur (641), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 7, 2008 750 mL bottle. Reddish brown pour with very small suspended particles. Large fizzy off-white head fades to a film on top of the beer. Fruity Belgian yeast aroma with earthy toffee notes. Taste is dryer than expected. Toffee, nutty, earthy and that same fruity yeast.
