RSRIZZO (952), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Apr 29, 2008 Aroma is a mild roasted scent. Color is a deep hazy orange brown with good carbonation and a tight tan head. Taste is mildly sweet. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a slight crispness. Finish comes in with a mild sweet roasted malt flavor and a little caramel with hints of fruit, then ends with a very mellow bitterness. After taste is clean with a slight warming feel. This brew is much lightly then it looks, this is not a bad thing. Its a delicate flavor that gets better as it warms up. Don’t try this brew too cold, the bottle says drink it between 50°-55° and that’s where the flavor really shows up.
BoBoChamp (277), Gent, Belgium Jul 20, 2008 75cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex scotch, hazy, good head, good brew, but not a topper TrefwoordPunk (358), Leiden, Netherlands Jul 19, 2008 Bottle 75 cl. Opened with a bang and about 25% of the beer gushed on the floor. Pours a very dark brown with a medium tan head with a malty and a bit sweet aroma. The taste is sweet caamel, malts and brown sugar, some fruits or the sweets my grandma used to give me in the end. Pretty good
popkow (31), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Jul 19, 2008 This product of Belgium poured a steady head of brown ale with a hue fo red. Brown ale touched with acholic notes and maybe one would say nears a scothc ale. An earthy coffee taste resonates. ogreface (144), Budapest, Hungary Jul 9, 2008 Mély vöröses barna,"csont fehér"kemény hab, malátás illat.Íze eleinte alkoholos, karamellásan édeskés és "erdei bogyós",gyümölcsös.Utána jön egy kellemes komlós kesernyésség és még egy kis gyümölcs.Kérek még! dkachur (641), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 7, 2008 750 mL bottle. Reddish brown pour with very small suspended particles. Large fizzy off-white head fades to a film on top of the beer. Fruity Belgian yeast aroma with earthy toffee notes. Taste is dryer than expected. Toffee, nutty, earthy and that same fruity yeast.
