Pours a brilliantly clear brownish red with a thin dull white head with little to no lace. Aroma is malty, toffee, toast, nutty, and overall fairly sweet. Flavour is sweet caramel malts, mild bitterness, touch of chocolate and a little metallic.

Good, smoothe beer. Its nutty taste is delightful and the sweet, maple syrupy after taste makes it even more special.

Sample at the Picaroon’s Brewers Bash, as Griffon Red. Red colour. Red malt taste with some light bitterness and tangy finish. Overall, pretty good, I can see why it is marketed as red rather than brown now.

Bouteille 341ml. Rousse 4.5%. Relativement légère sans trop d’amerture. Petit goût caramélisé

Ok. Pours brown with some head, lacing. Mostlyjust malt without much character. Finishes a little sour. Tap in some bar.
