Brewed with victory malt and has a less pronounced hop profile that allows the spices to come to the fore and contributes to a harmonious, balanced brew. September to December.

Bottle purchased at City Beer. I know this is old as shit, but I like this brewery. The aroma is on the sweet and sugary side. Spiced heavily with vanilla and nutmeg mostly. Transparent copper/amber body with a small, weak, quickly dissipating light tan head. Starts with a pretty malty start with caramel and toasted flavors. Mild nutmeg and vanilla in the middle. Finishes sweet. The spices are really dialed back in this, which I prefer. Of course, that could also be due to the fact that this beer is probably 9 months old, too.

This is a pretty standard but fine pumpkin! Decent rustic orange pour w/ no head or lacing. Good aroma & slightly spicy. The taste is clean and crisp w/ cinnamon standing out & a slight pumpkin flavor in there. Average palate and quite drinkable! Pretty good!

11.5 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/6/2013. Pours fairly crystal clear reddish copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pumpkin, brown sugar, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, toast, biscuit, floral, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, pumpkin, and spice notes; with good strength. Taste of big pumpkin, brown sugar, caramel, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, floral, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Minimal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, brown sugar, caramel, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and complexity of dark/bready malt, pumpkin, and spice flavors; with a great malt/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly slick, smooth, and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent pumpkin ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt, pumpkin, and spice flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pretty decent and much better than I expected. Pours clear orange amber with a decent beige head. Aroma brings sweet malts and pumpkin blended so well in the nose, just like on the flavor profile as well. Fall spices are present, but not overly pronounced and this works well on the malt base. Aroma brings light vanilla and pumpkin mash.

Bottle thanks to Brian! Pours clear red amber with a small beige head and good lacing. Aroma is spices - cinnamon, allspice, clove, some pumpkin/yam fruitiness as well. Light sweet, medium spiced, not really much bitterness, malty with some pumpkin as well. Light body. Not bad.

Ambrée avec un col assez tenace. Nez d’épices, thé chai. En bouche ça goûte le thé chai, clou de girofle, muscade et citrouille. Une bière classique d’Halloween. Pas la meilleur a mon goût !!

Comes out of the growler a clear and somewhat bubbly chestnut with a respectable buff head. Aroma has strong notes of cinnamon, cloves and pumpkin. Mouth watering, and true for a fall beer! Flavor echoes the pumpkin and spices of the aroma, and adds caramel and horehound hints. Texture is smooth, though a bit thin and not too fizzy. Then again, this is a growler that sat around for a while - give ’em a break. Finish is spicy and a bit fizzy. Get your autumn on, whichever side of the border you are on.

Bière de couleur ambrée avec un col moyennement mousseux. Nez d’épices et de thé chai. En bouche ça goûte le thé chai et épices de citrouille. Une bière classique d’Halloween, ça boit bien!
