Tallahassee, Fl - Beer Stop - 11.5 oz bottle - Beer Stop - labeled as St Ambroise Pumpkin. Dark copper pour, quickly fading off-white head. Aroma has some perfume accents, a touch of pumpkin spice and nutmeg. Solid flavor with the usual nutmeg and pumpkin pie spice accents, some yeasty notes, a hint of cinnamon in the back end. Mouthfeel has a decent crispness to it.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
341ml bottle from The Only Cafe. Orange/copper body with very thin off white head. Heavy Ginger aroma, nutmeg, caramel malts and some pumpkin. Taste is very much the same. Thin, sweet, great carbonation. Very sessionable with a great spice character.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper pour with a dark amber core and a thin, creamy off white head. Aroma is caramel, toast, lemony tartness, nuttiness and a hint of earthy sweetness, not necessarily something I would pick out as pumpkin. The flavor has a lot more pumpkin character, with a nice roastiness to it, some molasses, plummy dark fruit notes, and light vinous notes. Light to medium body chewy, slightly creamy entry, light to medium carbonation and dry, slightly acidic finish. Good stuff overall, nice Belgian-esque background.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
"Priced in between the six-packs and the bombers. A slightly better and more robust than expected brew. The body was quite smooth and relatively rich, the beer’s strong point. Semi sweet pumpkin and pretty good use (not overuse) of spices made this a nice one."

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Twistoff, standard longneck, ok label. Clear, darkish rusty bronze. Filmy, almost-white head. Dry, biscuity, allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Spice bitterness gets a bit cloying. Medium body, starchy-spice finish, good carbonation. Fair, especially for a cursed style. Beer Stop, Tallahassee.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle purchased at City Beer. I know this is old as shit, but I like this brewery. The aroma is on the sweet and sugary side. Spiced heavily with vanilla and nutmeg mostly. Transparent copper/amber body with a small, weak, quickly dissipating light tan head. Starts with a pretty malty start with caramel and toasted flavors. Mild nutmeg and vanilla in the middle. Finishes sweet. The spices are really dialed back in this, which I prefer. Of course, that could also be due to the fact that this beer is probably 9 months old, too.
