jake65 (1216), Meridian, Idaho, USA Apr 17, 2007 On Tap at Brewpub: Extended title is "Orange Fest Hefeweizen." Murky orange pour with a moderate white head and light lacing. Nose is citrus and wheat. The taste is certainly more orange oriented than that of a hefe. Trace wheat and malt present. Indiana_Red (1446), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 21, 2007 On Tap at the brewpub
A slightly hazy light golden orange with a small white soapy head and traces of lacing. Very light malt and wheat aroma with just a trace of the orange that bears its name. Flavor was more like an American Hef witha twist. Maybe that was intentional.
Soft light feel and easy drinking. pinkzambia (868), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 17, 2006 Tap at brewpub Cloudy goldish orange color with a spicy fruit aroma and a little skunky. The taste is definitely a sweet orange taste followed by a smooth wheat finish. Not too bad for a fruit beer. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 26, 2006 Light amber with some lace but no head really. Soapy and floral nose with some citrus. Light toastiness. Bitter and citrus filled flavors. Lots of oranges. Loud palate with a bitter, almost acrid finish. BückDich (4525), Boise, Idaho, USA May 11, 2006 Tap @ Brewpub in McCall, ID<BR>Light misty gold, nice head and lacing. Nose of light musky orange extract and 2-row. The flavor is sweet, creamy and chewy. The malts overpower the orange and it’s a bit jaded in that respect.
