Drunk straight out of bottle, so can’t really comment on appearance. For a light beer, it’s not that bad, tastes better than most macros, with half the alcohol, otherwise, just a standard, pretty thin lager. Quite watery, no lasting taste, very thin palate. Much better than any other low alcohol beer that I’ve had.

The head is medium, the body yellow. It smells malty, hoppy bit bitter. The taste is malty, hoppy, bit dry. Good for 2%

Bottle at Wellington Airport. Clear, bright yellow/gold, high carbonation, mild aroma, flavour and bitterness, biscuity, slightly metallic. Not great, but what light beers are?

The sample I was given was a yellow-gold colour with plenty of evident carbonation. Aroma was fairly mild: pilsner hopping and lager malt. When I say mild, it’s definitely there and it is appreciated. The flavour is a little lacking as to be expected from low alcohol but pleasant enough as an alternative beer when driving is a foreseeable action.
