4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 floydian1 (718) - FNQ Australia, AUSTRALIA - MAY 29, 2012
650ml brown bottle. Bronzed amber pour with good sized off white head. Aromas of butterscotch and fruity hops (oranges, peaches) with a hint of peppery spices. Nice well integrated bittersweet flavour profile with a decent lingering hop bitterness at the end. Light-medium body with a clean mouthfeel and easy sessionability. Enjoyed this a lot.

nice amber colour, lots of malt and some stonefruit in the aroma which follows through into flavour, definitely a good beer.

Made w/ wai-iti hops, which presumably means "little water" Cloudy amber w thin amber. Fruit nose w light ginger, marmalade, and lots of rich, earthy caramel malt. Rich bitterness collides with earthy crystal malt... The hops lose their aromatic subtlety, but the bitterness lingers well into the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Maris (749) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JUN 4, 2012
From a 650ml bottle on 4/6/2012. Pours a clear dark golden with a medium head. Has a moderate aroma of spices, caramel and a touch of fruit. The flavour starts with a big dollop of caramel and biscuity malt and moves onto to some sweet citrus fruits (particularly orange). As stated on the bottle, there is some spice and pepper to be found in this decently hoppy brew. Slightly unusual and quite enjoyable.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Brenhophead (382) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 19, 2012
650mL bomber bottle. Pours golden sunset orange with a nice off white head. Aroma is fairly muted, slight hint of spice and citrus although that is generally typical of the style. This beer has flavour in spades, the nice grassey spice is perfectly mixed with a slight marmalade like citrus flavour. Quite sweet on the palate but also quite bitter so a nice balance.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 Pyobon (728) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 11, 2013
(Bottle) Cloudy amber with nice dense fine head. Surprisingly little aroma, but pleasant: slightly hoppy. Lovely palate, very smooth and creamy from very fine carbonation. The taste starts with hops overlaying some pleasant, but not oversweet, caramel maltiness. Very nice bitter finish - good prominent hop bitterness, without searing the taste-buds.
A good IPA with hops all the way, but not overwhelmed by them.
