(Bottle) Clear dark amber / medium brown with very slight white head. Subtle sweetish biscuity malt aroma. Fairly light body with pleasant soft carbonation. Malt and hops on the foretaste with the malt ebbing away for some lasting gentle bitterness. Notes of tea and maybe toffee. Pleasant beer.

BB 3/2/14. Poured a translucent amber colour with a one-finger light beige foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. Medium carbonation with small bubbles forming trails. Aroma moderately strong of sweet caramel malt and with mild spicy hops. Taste initially with some sweet malt followed by a mild plain hops bitterness. Light to medium body. Smooth with a long mildly hoppy bitterness after taste. Worth it.

Really surprising beer from the Kiwiís - rich , full bodied and with a lovely aroma in line with an Aussie pale Ale - I will now have to try their other beers in the range :-)
