We hope you enjoy this Stoke IPA. We make it the old fashioned way and never cut corners. Itís brewed using a combination of premium Nelson hops including Pacific Gem, Cascade, Motueka and Styrian Golding, bespoke yeast, 14,000 year old Palesoô water and lightly toasted malt (no artificial additives or colouring). Stoke IPA is tank conditioned over 4 weeks to ensure a smooth caramel sweetness and hangover-free experience.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Hazy golden body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Light carbonation. Few lacing marks. Aroma of grass and grain. Flavour is light, lemony and grassy - itís more like a slightly hoppy Lager than an IPA. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft carbonation. Bland and boring, but not quite as bad as the previous reviews make out.

Pale colour with a thin head. Low carbonation. Lightly fruity and hops aroma. Taste is soft fruity and hop without special notes. Watery body. Too poor for the style.

Bottle at Wellington Airport. Clear darkish-golden, quite muted aroma, some mild grassiness, smelt very "grainy"/"worty", tasted a bit better with some piney hops and sweetish caramel malt. Ok, but nothing special.

Clear, slightly hazy orange coloured body with a bit of a bronze glow and a thin, half a centimetre tall white head. Aroma of grass, medicine and a hint of stale malt - no hops at all, and a very mild scent for sure. Light-bodied; Grassy and herbal flavours up front with a strong dose of perfumey hops and a little stale malt and alcohol flavours noticeable. Aftertaste shows only stale malt, odd funky notes and no complexity and more importantly - no hops. Overall, a pretty bad offering and nowhere close to an IPA, APA or anything with hops in it. Definitely pass up on this, even if it isnít horribly expensive - itís not worth a single US$. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 12-April-2013 for US$3.98 sampled at home in Washington on 20-June-2013.

Not a real IPA. Itís like a reasonable macro lager with a touch of artificial bitterness powder added. I never thought Iíd say this, but, it would probably have been better without the added bitterness.

Was a bit disappointed with this one, hoping it would have more of the hoppiness found in a good IPA, but my first impression was íindustrialí. Vey pleasant on the eye, nice clear ale, but little aroma and very bitter aftertaste. Reminds me of Tui, unfortunately

Not much of a nose, not much of a backbone of the hops and a slight bitter finish. Color was golden, clear and minimally carbonated. The body felt thin and light nearing flat.

Bottled. A pale amber beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of flowers, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, flowery and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber with a small white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is spruce, pine, grain. Flavor its the same, kind of lagery actually, medium sweet with very light bitterness. As a hot summer day session beer this isnít bad. As an IPA, meh.

Green bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of skunk, bread, earthiness, citrus and a hint of pine. Palate wass light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, earthiness, light citrus and light pine with a crisp moderatly bitter lingering earthy finish.
