Dominated by apple, refreshingly sweet notes of blackberries present themselves in the nose of this wine. Unlike many other fruit ciders, we ferment the berries with the apples from the start, bringing out a more tannic, complex blackberry flavor with the apple.

Bottle. Slightly sweet earthy apple and light berry aroma. Clear rose/peach. Dry apple/berry and light musty flavor. Light uncarbonated body, dry finish.

750 ml bottle to stemmed glass at McClure’s. Looks solid; a transparent light pinkish orange with bubbly lacing and very soft carbonation. Smells solid too; semi-tart with a nice balance of apples and blackberries. Tastes like it smells, but more tart. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied and dry. A solid cider.
