Great, dark quad. Very strong, lots of spice and a huge malty fruity character. Tried at the Lawrence Beer Expo in 2015.

Draft at the souce. Not sure what happened to anniversaries 13 and 14. Not enough Ratebeerians in KC, or where they really good anniversary parties? Draft at the source. Dark clear brown color, small tan head. Aroma of cherries, dark cocoa, subtle esoresso, German black firest cake. Tastes like my grandmother’s black forest cake recipe too, sour cherries and dark summer fruit in a rich and dark bittersweet cocia background. Well done, and the best beer of the KC trip so far.
