I actually enjoyed this. One has to remember that this is a Shandy and not an overly complex beer. The aroma was of strong ginger. The color was like, well, Ginger Ale. The mouth feel was highly carbonated and crisp. Ginger is the flavor that hits you first followed by sweetness with a little spice. This borders the line of a wine cooler but can still be classified as a beer. Refreshing.

Hazy yellow with a pure white head. Good, strong ginger aroma and even better ginger flavir accented by quite a bit of sweetness. I enjoy this quite well. A sweet ginger beer. This would probably be great when you’re sick, but then again, I doubt that’s a good idea. Wait, yeah, sounds good.

Tap. Pours a clear light straw yellow color. Light foamy head. Aroma has a big ginger element with some tartness and lemon peel. Flavor is lots of ginger, spices, lemon and citrus. Finishes with a floral, soapy element. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

February 27, 2013 - tap at Foundry. Cloudy whitish pour with head and lacing. Aroma was lemonade with a splash of ginger. Taste was consistent but thankfully not too much ginger, which I don’t care for much. Little bit thin and an odd aftertaste.

It poured a cloudy orange copper color with a tiny white head. The aroma was of lemons, ginger and sugar. The taste was of some ginger, syrup and a lttle soda water. A decent beverage on a rather warm afternoon.

Draft at the source. Hazy golden color, small white head, decent lacing. Gingrr is subtle in the nose, but grabs you in the taste. OK if you like ginger.

Draft sample at Microfest 2012. Of the four, I’m not sure why I reached for this one. Probably because it was 90 degrees and the festival was on a parking lot. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a finger of frothy white head. Notes of lemon citrus, ginger- and a lot of both- along with sugar, and some bread. Light-bodied, with high carbonation and a crisp, sweet, gingery mouthfeel. Spicy and sweet at the same time, refreshing. Not bad, actually.
