1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Draught. This is a thin and tinny bitter that does not really have a whole lot going for it.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle labeled as Younger’s Tartan Special Ale in Canada listed at 4.5%ABV poured a pale amber color with a 2 finger creamy white head that left some soapy lacing on the glass. Aroma was light toasted caramel malts and pleasant hops. Taste was malty sweet with a bitter hop finish. Light to medium bodied with loads of carbonation. Quite a bit of flavor for a low ABV brew.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
The last time I had this it was still called Tartan Special. It has a slight biter aftertaste that I really quite enjoyed at the time. It is rather hard to find these days where I live.
