this is the real stuff! absolutelt nothing else wull do ! its just like the bog fairies came oot o their peaty cubbyholes and cast a magic spell ower this fantastic beer the smootheness is fantastic a perfect accompanyment to a single malt or even a good blended whusky which mostly can be every bit as good as a standard malt ! Dont be fooled by the whusky snobs.Weel noo, be warned that is yur reccomended limit for your daily consumption of alcohol any more could cause a wee bittie liver scarring nb this is a fairly strong beer,so mak yer nippie sweetie awee ane .

Canned(500ml). -Clear amber coloured, medium to big pale beige head that went away slowly. Sweet malty and metallic taste with notes of caramel and just a tiny touch of burnt sugar iand hops n the finish. Boring.

Medium brwon in color. Sweet and malty with a high degree of green hops and bitterness. More hops than I expected.

500 ml can - Brewed in Edinburgh, Scotland ( not Tadcaster, England ). Clear dark amber in colour. Off white head. thin to Medium body and medium carbonation. Flavour malty, nutty, a hint of charcoal. Medium bitterness in the finish.
