A hazy red-brown beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with caramel notes in the middle, leading to a very dry hoppy end. Boring.

Golden brown colour, head mostly lasting, a bit metallic in taste, not a particually good beer.

head lasted too long, it doesnt smell of much to begin with, but you have to spatula the head away or you wont get anything at all, a little sweet , melted sugar. little on the thin side and leaves a slightly nasty tingle on the tongue. Not something i would want to buy , but if you get it free from your parents like i did , take it to a party, its easy to drink.

Dark copper colour with a huge, off-white, long-lasting head. A faint, indecipherable aroma. The taste was metallic and somehow seemed rather old fashioned: it was thin and featureless like some of the popular British beers of the 70’s. Enjoyable nostalgia... unfortunately I still have three more cans to drink.

far better than expected actually, thopugh a stupidly big head on it. aroma is not to bad for a canned ale though im not sure what it smelled of. taste is a bit sweet but is an easy drink.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2007 Can. Distinct metal aroma. Copper colour with beige head. A slightly burned maltyness in flavor, but both flavor and finish is dominated by metal. Light bitterness in the end. (051011)

Can. Dark amber colour with a off white head. Smooth sweet and malty flavour balanced with a hoppy bite in the finish. Very smoky flavours. Better out of keg than can.

MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - NOV 26, 2008
Can (500ml). Poured burnt copper with a thick, frothy, off-white head which was mostly lasting. An odd yet intriguing aroma of smoked bacon and wood with strange dirty/earthy notes, toffee malts, caramel and a subtle fruitiness (blackberries?). Flavor was very poorly balanced with unpleasant metallic notes, a mild bitterness, sweet buttery malts, margarine (the cheap sort), odd dusty/dirty notes and a dry woody finish. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation, a dry/creamy mouthfeel and an average lasting finish.
