3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer had quote the journey to where it is brewed now. Hopefully the recipe hasn’t changed with it. It’s an inexpensive bottle of 8% alcohol Scotch Ale. It’s sweet, almost fruity, and doesn’t have the typical Scotch "band-aid" flavor.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a very dark coppery almost dark brown color, topped with a small and quickly settling off-white head. Malty aroma, caramel and some roasted notes, with easily picked up strong liquer aromas. Taste is sweet with nice chocolate presence, alcohol is very well hidden. Didn’t expect such a nice and surprisingly gentle taste after such aroma. Great taste.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
è la MIA birra in assoluto! odori, aromi, colore e l’alto grado alcolico la rendono una vera birra da meditazione.
Purtroppo da parecchi anni in italia è diventata introvabile e me la sogno ancora di notte :D

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Nice aromas of cacao, coffee and butterscotch with a slightly boozy aroma present. Tastes more of the same with the malts standing strong. Alcohol does show a bit as it warms up. Bits of vanilla and oak come out as well. Nice smooth finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice Scotch ale, but the alcohol taste is a bit too sharp in my book; it gets a bit overbearing compared to the other flavors. Still good thought.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear dark brown, beige head cover, mottled wall of lace. Aroma of toasted malt and chocolate. Taste is toasted malt with a light touch of chocolate that grows significantly on its way through the palate, turning a little bitter in the finish. A clean, solid, full-bodied, tasty brew. Recommended.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted from bottle. Pours a very dark brown with off white head that quickly fades. Not a strong aroma but mostly caramel, toffee and dark fruits. Taste is similar to aroma. Faint coffee taste along with the caramel, toffee and dark fruits. I think it's a little more thin than I would like but still pretty good. Above average for style.
