Very dark amber. Very sticky malt body, some hops in the finish. Rather sweet for my taste, no complex.

dark, clear with ruby highlights in a dark brown beer. thin off-white head. aroma of alcohol, roasted malt, bitter coffee. surprisingly nice flavor of chocolate, and roasted malt. no smokeyness. hints of maple syrup.

Bottle, very sweet alcohol is noticible, malty, not bad, but malts and alcohol dominate this brew.

A very enjoyable brew. Nice sweet whiff and while initially sweet, turns a slight bitterness on the back end. Very good stuff

Bottle. Nice deep ruby brownish colour with a medium fairly lasting off-white head. Malty and sweet aroma. Flavour is smooth, malty, caramellic, bit nutty with some hops. Nice malty finish.

Deep dark brown pour with a medium sized tan frothy head. The aroma is subtle, mostly sweet malts. The flavor is dominated by the sweat roasted malts. the Malt has a chocolate or toffee flavor, depending on what else you are eating or have had to drink. The finish is on the longer side. Not a bad beer at all, in fact I think I may have to get this again.

Pours deep reddish brown with light tan head. Sweet coffee and butterscotch nose. Tastes of malt, butterscotch, molasses, and caramel. Overall, a nice liquid dessert.
