I got a 3-pack in Italy, and I am tasting it in this time. I am satisfied wit htis Italian red, even if this beer isn’t better then the original Irish versions. The aroma is good, but the flavour is not so complete.

Bottle and Tap. Fruity, dark brown colour. Nice for and Ale beer. Nothing special.

Bottle. Sweet, fruity, malty aroma. Orange-amber with a short-lived tan head. Crisp taste with a little (industrial) bitterness toward the end, which is medium-dry. Predominately malty with berry and oak. Gentle sweetness. Medium- to -full bodied. Not bad but not Irish.

Had this in Florence Italy. Tastes better then the McFarland Strong, but still not a favorite of the red beers I’ve tried. Not much else to say that hasn’t been said already.

Not a bad beer at all. I dont remember the specifics but I enjoyed it in Venice Italy. Was pretty strong, but one of the better red beers I have tried.

Beautiful red/cobber colour with limited white head. Aroma is mostly berries and caramel. The flavour is more cranberries that gives it a sour edge, but some burnt malts at the end bring sweetness and dryness as well.

Bottled in Italy. Rather fizzy. Lots of malt taste with some bitter finish. Not unpleasant, but certainly not outstanding, either.

Bottle. Amber color with a white head. Thin light malty bodu with a light bitter palate.
