Can 50cl. @ [ Chris O’s pre NYE Tasting ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, old brown sugar, caramel notes, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tasted from a bottle from market. Amber colur pours to red. Medium head. Caramlized tasted on tongue. But mouthfell is poor and not stay so much afterwards. Kind of like weak ale.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Pipper (325) - Ohio, USA - JAN 25, 2009
Poured into pint glass from tab in Genoa, Italy. Low carbonation, very low citrus aroma with a light ruby color. Half inch of head that diminished quickly. Not great after taste maybe due to the 8% alcohol content without any hoppy flavor, more of a dead light beer.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 harrisoni (9608) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2009
500ml can at Chris o New Year tasting 08/09. Attractive amber, thin off white head. Some fruit. It’s a bit syrupy in the middle, ok oon finish, bit of a sting.

500ml can (no best before date). Generous head. More dark amber than red really. A handsome beer nonetheless. Some vague gluey notes in the aroma. Otherwise rather malty, as expected, with a hint of dry bitterness. Bland, but not as bad as I expected, especially as it had been sitting around for at least a year. Says brewed under license from Murphys on the can so I guess it is probably higher ABV brew for the Italian market - just the sort of thing that seems to be popular in Italy - based on the Murphys Irish Red (which is actually produced in the Netherlands these days). And most, if not all, of the Murphys Irish Stout is actually contracted out to Inbev at their plant in Wales. I’m rambling. I’ll stop now.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a light cola color. Not a lot of aroma, sweet malt with a hint of fruit/hops. Flavor is malty, with a touch of bitterness.
