Draft at the pub "Mad Jack" Rome/Italy:
Clear red colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma of malts citric, fruity, with a caramelly ending. Flavor has a smouth creamy mouth feeling, thin body, and a short citric/bitter fnish.

0.33 l bottle. Reddish amber color. Malty, toffeish, and slightly fruity aroma. Sweetish, malty and toffeish flavor with some toasted notes and very low bitterness. One dimensional.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Maria (7805) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 17, 2007
Nice, dark amber color and a good, but quickly disappearing head. It’s very malty and slightly hoppy and perhaps a few notes of flower and fruit. The bitterness is moderate. I tasted this one as one of my first. Back then it was a woow sensation, but a re-rating collapsed my memory of it - and now it’s just plain ordinary...
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 patrick767 (2772) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 22, 2007
tap in a pub in Florence (or maybe it was Rome) - Maybe this beer is just better on tap in Italy than in the bottles as I thought it was quite good. It pours clear red with a one finger white head that sticks around and laces nicely. The aroma is caramel malt and the flavor is a moderately intense caramel malt with some roast character. It’s sweet and easy drinking with a little mild hops. Good session brew. Finally, I found a good Italian beer while I was there, though I didn’t know it was Italian.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Slayer85 (862) - Firenze, ITALY - NOV 17, 2007
Bottled. Clear red beer with a decent white head. The aroma is lighty malty and hoppy. the flavour has some carmel notes but with a metallic edge and an industrial feeling all over it. Some bitterness in a short finish. Light to medium body. Not the worst commercial beer from Italy
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 TaxiDriver (1372) - Stadland, GERMANY - SEP 20, 2007
Bottle. Cherry, a little bit spiced, moderate malty. Small white fizzy head, fully disappearing. Red clear body. Moderate bitter, later on a bit of sweetness, average duration. Light body, dry & watery texture, lively carbonation. Moderate astringent finish. Not one of my favorites.
