Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
A very solid mild. Dark, nutty aroma. Dry hazel flavour. The Wenlock has been in fine form of late. Not just new beers but new breweries left and right. Nice work DW!

1. Cask Handpump at the Helter Skelter, Frodsham 25/05/2001 Dry with a smoked aroma. Nutty flavoured finish. 2. Cask Stillage at Saddleworth Museum, Uppermill 01/09/2001 Dark red coloured mild with a roast finish.

A pleasant, if unexceptional, dark mild. Some subtle roast malt and chocolate hints in the flavour, but nothing very assertive. Cask (gravity), Battersea Beer Festival.
