COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not for everyone -- but if a rich, creamy, dark ale with a distinguished roast flavor appeals to your taste buds you will enjoy a pint of McGuire's Stout. To produce the sumptuous, creamy head we use a special nitrogen draft system. This robust brew is created with dark roasted barley and Chinook hops.

On tap in Pensacola. Aroma is big roast, coffee grounds, chocolate, and big earthy hops. Pours black - tan head. Velvety texture. Flavors are bold roasted coffee and malt notes, chocolate, and again, a big earthy hop presence. Very nice.

On draft at McGuire’s Destin. Pours a nice medium stout brown color with a creamy tan head. Nose is big roast, some chocolate, and some earth with mild black coffee. Flavor follows: roasted malts, black coffee, and big earthy roasted malts. Medium in body and an annihilator if poured side-by-side with Guiness.

Tasty cream stout. Probably the best of their beers, hopefully they distribute it at some point. Malty yet roasty nose, solid body, less burnt finish than the porter.

Came in a standard U.S. pint glass. Black color, thin head. Great smell, coffee, roasted malt. Rich flavor. Tastes just like it smells, roasted malt, bitter in the middle with a hint of coffee to round it out. Smooth body, low carbonation and medium bodied. Brings it all together well. Really solid stout. Easy drinking and good.

Tap - McGuire’s in Destin - not a stout fan, but this one wasn’t bad - dark color of course, nice thick head, not too strong of a typical stout flavor

2/3/11. On nitro at the Destin location. Not quite opaque black pour with reds under the light and a creamy khaki head. Dusty, creamy chocolate aroma with a bitter grainy old coffee flavor that lingers like tannic grains. Meh.
