3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Came in a standard U.S. pint glass. Black color, thin head.
Great smell, coffee, roasted malt. Rich flavor.
Tastes just like it smells, roasted malt, bitter in the middle with a hint of coffee to round it out.
Smooth body, low carbonation and medium bodied. Brings it all together well.
Really solid stout. Easy drinking and good.

Tap - McGuire’s in Destin - not a stout fan, but this one wasn’t bad - dark color of course, nice thick head, not too strong of a typical stout flavor

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
2/3/11. On nitro at the Destin location. Not quite opaque black pour with reds under the light and a creamy khaki head. Dusty, creamy chocolate aroma with a bitter grainy old coffee flavor that lingers like tannic grains. Meh.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the Pensacola brewpub. Classic beautiful jet black, thick as hell pour with a milkshake for a head. Aroma is disappointingly faint; a touch of cherry malt and chocolate, but there’s not much to go on. Flavor has more dark roasted malt and some licorice. Slight alcohol, roasted malt, and dry hops finish. Solid style representation.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft at pub: Appearance is pitch black with tan head, aroma of just roasted barley, flavor pretty much like Guinness, pretty dry and not a ton of flavor and no hops. Decent beer.
