COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This popular light lager is the lightest of the McGuire's beers. Even though McGuire's Light is crafted like the finest European beer, the flavor is similar to an American style Pilsner Beer. This beer is low in calories and will compliment any meal

Very good for a pale lager. It has the characteristics of a good German Pilsner. Light in all aspects but very refreshing and easy drinking.

2/3/11. On tap at the Destin location. Clear golden pour with a fizz of white head. Horrifying sweet buttery aroma with a terrible, terrible buttery cereal filled flavor. This is like Wheaties drizzled in butterscotch syrup. This is terrible.

MaltDawg (1346) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 27, 2010
Sampler at the Destin Pub. Per beer sample sheet "McGuires Old Fashioned Ale". Light earthy hop notes and some grain in aroma. Clear light straw/golden. Earthy hop notes with some pilsner malt qualities in flavor. Light body with dry crisp finish. Not sure whether a cream ale or a lager but has some qualities of both.

Ibrew2or3 (4985) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 30, 2009
On tap at the Pensacola location pouring up clear gold with full bright white head and some lacing. The aroma is sweet, floral and then a touch grainy. The taste brings forward notes of grain, corn and then floral hops. By midway and into the finish just a bit of spicy and floral hop bitterness is noticeable for a moment or two.

Take one of your run-of-the-mill macro lagers, add a hint of spice, sprinkle and a dash of floral hops, and serve cold.
