COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is insane! Light colored, it looks innocent enough, but that strong haze let’s you know it has some serious hops. It is loaded with hop bitterness, fruit citrusy hop flavor, and a psychotic hop aroma that will knock you out. Enjoy!

In short: A refreshing and uber-fruity pale Double IPA. Very good.
How: Tap at brewpub. One of the RBSG 2011 bus-trip pit-stop
The look: Cloudy yellow body topped by a long-lasting small white head
In long: The fruity hoppy nose is mostly tropical fruits of all kinds. Taste has a plenty of fresh pale malts followed by a whole lot of fruity hops that had flavors of lemons, pineapples, grapefruits. There was a bit sweetness but I didn’t have a honey or caramel sensation, the sweetness tasted like pure fruits sweetness as if the beer was made with real fruits. Bitterness level was medium. This is not an intense hop bomb, this Double IPA focuses on drinkability and being refreshing. Surprisingly after years of making excellent beers this is McKenzie’s first Double IPA, it appears that McKenzie finally jumped in the Double IPA bandwagon with the Bandwagon Double IPA.

Draft during the RBSG 2011 bus tour. Ugly pour of an orange/brown body with a small bubbly white head and some large clinging bubbles. Aroma of citrus, oranges rind and hops. Medium to fuller boided with rather strong carbonation. Flavor of citrus rind and dry grass. Straight from the rating book "I likey-good stuff".

This poured a cloudy orange color with an of white headd. Aroma was lots of citrus hop notes with some sweeter malt behind it. Flavor was a bit bland compared to the aroma, seemingly mainly cascade/centennial hops and sticky sweet malt and a bit watery at the same time.
