DeadGuyFrank (316), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA Oct 2, 2007 For those who do not like McKenzie’s beers, there is a difference!!! The Glen Mills/Chadds Ford location is far and away superior....here is proof. The "English pale ale" is basicallty a hoppier version of Sierra Nevada and just as tasty. Really well done - avoid the Malvern/Rt. 30 location and drink McKenzie’s at 202. Dickinsonbeer (2480), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Aug 6, 2006 Tap at Malvern. Pours a light copper color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy- floral almsot tea-like, with some light malt flavors and hints of fruity esters. Flavor is light- moslty light hoppiness, with some hints of crystal malts. Ok body and mouthfeel. Crisp and clean finish. Walt (2257), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 31, 2006 Pour is nice warm hazy amber with a thin off white head....smell is floral hoppiness...flavor is slightly sweeet up front with a piney bitterness toward the end... obxdude10 (1387), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 31, 2006 Light copper in color, very small off-white head, a decent amount of lacing left behind in the glass, aroma of caramel, grapefruit & bread, medium in body, very smooth & drinkable, flavors of caramel, bread & yeast with just a touch of bitter hops, very clean & somewhat bitter finish, a decent bitter
egajdzis (2879), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 18, 2006 Poured a dark golden color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toffee, light citrus, chestnut, and grains. Taste of cereal, kind of oatty, with a lightly tart citrus, and a dry, clean finish.
