Slightly hazed lighter amber with a fluffy white head. Peppery spice with yeast undertones, lemon, floral, and herbal hops in back. The flavor is brighter, yeast undertones very light with a more present peppery spice and a juicy citric hop and herbal hop presence in back. Medium body, lively carbonation and fairly dry finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
In short: A rustic and dry blonde Saison with a nice dry leafy hopping. Very nice session beer
How: Tap at brewpub. One of the RBSG 2011 bus-trip pit-stop
The look: Cloudy blonde body toped by a small white head
In long: Nose is rustic with plenty of english-style leafy hops, really smelled like a cross between a Saison and an ESB. Taste has plenty of hay, crisp cereals, dried pineapples. Pleasant leafy hops bringing a dry tree leafs sensation. Finish is has a sharp and slightly acidic dryness like lemon skin. Body sure didn’t feel thin for a below 5% beer. I really enjoyed this beer. I see from the ratings that all pretty much everybody in our RBSG 2011 group slammed this beer down because ratebeer is all about bigger is better. However if you’re someone just like me you will appreciate this nice Saison and like other people just like me you are lucky to be a great person.
