Bottle @ a recent bottle share... Poured brownish/orange with a large forming khaki head. Ripe fruits with a strong wood character on this one that offered a nice earthiness to oppose the malt. Around all this was a decent acidic tartness that added a lot of depth here. Nice dark fruit presence.

Bottle as Irma Extra. Gusher. Hazy amber color, large tan head, solid lacing. Aroma is beautiful and fruity barnyard. Taste is subtle and complex dust, hay, straw. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by yourefragile. Thanks Mike. Served along side Hill Farmstead Art, Arthur, Flora, and Civil Disobedience. The beer is a ruby-tinged brown color, with a half inch of thick head. Lasting retention and nice lacing on the snifter. The aroma is pleasant, offering wine, oak, brett funk, and an assortment of fruits. Fruity flavor, with a light sweetness throughout. Complex and tasty. I really enjoyed this. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 09-02-2011

Bottle... Clear dark-amber ale with an orange tint and a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. Decent retention. The aroma is bursting-at-the-seams with fruity, woody and tangy notes. Medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. The well-balanced flavor offers a good-sized ration of fruity apricot and cherry tartness underscored by moderate caramel sweetness. Finishes tangy, fruity and lightly bitter. Bottle courtesy of jyoungsbcp!

Pours a murky orange brown, not much lacing. creamy off white head. Notes are filled with tons of wet wood, dark grapes, brett, and light acidity. Further tasting notes of sugar, lemon peel, sour fruits, cherry juice, and spicy wood. Very good sour.

Pours a clear amber/ruby with a thin lt tan head. Aroma has light tart fruitiness and a touch of balsamic soury/sweetness. Flavor has soury fruit up front with some leathery earthiness coming late. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is yeasty/leathery and dry.

Bottle at Markwise’s Bday BAsh, poured a cloudy dark orange color, aromas of vinegar, light earth, light fruit, and some caramel. Flavors of vinegar, earth, light fruit, and a touch of funk.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 Rich amber-orange-brown body. Nose is comprised of a mildly musty/funky oak, dark fruits, yeast, and mild oxidation (sherry-like notes). Flavor is similar, but the flavors are less polished and fight with one another to control the profile. Lightly acetic. Medium bodied, a bit thin, assertive carbonation. My first impression was an inferior version of Rosso E Marrone. Underwhelming.

Pours a hazy orange-brown color with off-white head. Aroma is sour pit fruits, wood, and light vinegar. Taste is tart with a touch of bitterness. Medium bodied with a oily mouthfeel yet the finish is somewhat dry. Prett good beer.
