Pours a slightly cloudy, dark golden copper color with dark amber edges and a half finger off-white head that quickly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Sporadic spotty lacing. Bland aroma with subtle spice and earthy hops. Dominated by sweet malt with hints of rye, caramel, toffee and dark fruit. Medium bodies with a surprising hop forward flavor profile followed by a sweet malt backbone. Crisp, spicy hop bite lingering over caramel malt sweetness, spicy rye, toffee, bread and dark fruit notes. Easy to drink with a subtle hop component countering the strong malt presence.

On tap at Devon Brewpub. Pours opaque dark amber with off-white head. Aromas of caramel, earth, apple. Moderately sweet, low bitterness. Full body has a little bit of crispness. Liked it more than I thought I would.

Draught at Devon BrewPub: Aroma of malt and a hint of caramel. Poured copper/dark orange in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, off-white/tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, light cocoa, and grain. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, slight caramel, grain finish.

On tap, at brewery. Pours a clear amber body with a minimal fizzy white head. The nose is dry toasty malt with a touch of ale fruitiness. Dry and malt driven flavor with some light ale yeastiness. Finishes with some toasty and slightly husky malt. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied with soft fizzy carbonation, a little coarse in texture. Yer average Irish Red I would say.

From growler. Light hop aroma, some dusty grain and a bit tart. Little bit of sweetness, caramel. Not my favorite aroma. Medium copper amber clear with off-white lacing foamy head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts with some caramel roasted malt, light hop bitterness, and mild neutral fruit. Decent dry irish ale with light nutty finish and after.

Draft at CF. Ruby pour with nose of Munich malt, red grapet fruit, caramel. Tastes malty, red winey fruity, with a nice smoothness, richness, and complexity. i sampled then pinted this, and would have growlered it had my wife not bitched at me about it.
