2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
cloudy unfiltered brew, thought it was a bit dark for a saison. Seemed to have spices, coriander, grains of paradise(peppery?) added which I’m just not a fan of, but seemed to help this saison from when I tried it last. Body was good, Thought the spices overpowered hop bitterness too much. Overall, just a bit plain in taste, and I thought it was too sweet too. Shocked it won over Southhampton, which is one of the best. The GABF is just like football, "Any given Sunday"!!!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy honey/orange poured with a thick white head...heavy lacing and great retention. Aroma has a great balance between delicate fruit, spice, and bitterness. Flavor follows suit...very clean and excellent balance of delicate flavors. Mouthfeel is light and lively/silky with a dry earthy/rindy/peppery finish. One of my favorite local brews!

Draft at RR. Pours pale yellow with minimal head and champagne like carbonation. Aroma is saison yeast, cereal, and some citrus. First sip is similar with farmhouse notes and biscuits. Finish is dry and clean.

Yum. Just the right amount of tart, hops, and malt. Made for a solid saison. Definitely recommended.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at McKenzie’s ( Glen Mills). Pours a clear, pale golden yellow color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles. Slightly grassy, earthy aroma with a strong light fruit presence and subtle booze. Taste has hints of earthy, grassy hops and subtle barnyard funk followed by pepper and zesty citrus peel. Medium bodied but slightly fuller than expected with subtle funkiness and a strong spice presence that lingers over the sweeter notes into dry finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale yellow pour with lots of head and some lace. Smell is corn, hops, yeast, citrus. Reminded me of a pale lager almost. One of the more hoppier saisons I’ve tried. Taste is same as smell. Lots of hops, light lager taste at first followed by a kick of cinnamon, berry, and alcohol.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael. This is the version without barrel aging and wild yeast.
The beer appears transparent and light yellow hued with a half inch of white head that generates some decent lacing. Aromas include floral, yeast and citrus notes. Flavor is nice and well balanced. Refreshing and easy to drink. Light to medium bodied. I much prefer the bottled version that incorporates wild yeast, as I find it much more delicious, intriguing, and complex. Still, this is a tasty brew, and I would happily have it again.
