On tap at McKenzie Brew House in Devon. Pours a medium copper-brown with a single-finger off-white head. Some nice lacing on the way down. Good retention as well. The nose brings some slight earthiness and a bit of dark fruit. The flavor is a bit more subdued, having a nice earthy presence with a touch of spice through the background. Light-medium body with good carbonation. A nice dark saison.

Aroma of malt, yeast, spices, and slight caramelized candi-sugar. Poured orange in color with a small, off-white, creamy, loose, head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of small-sized particles throughout. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malt, Belgian yeast, grain, and candi-sugar. Medium body. Average to dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, candi sugar, Belgian yeast finish is light to medium sweet and lightly bitter.
