COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Reserved for the darkest of hearts, McKenzie’s Black Cherry is an inspiration to hard cider - rich amber, full body with a refreshingly sweet cherry finish.

Tap at Draught 55 in honor of today’s thread about bad American overly sweet cider I bought exactly that even though I disagree that’s the norm. Flat cherry hued Apple. Nose is sugary fruit and apple. Tastes of juice, Apple, sweet Cherry syrup. Sucky

Tap (Happy Gnome); pours clear gold with a white head; sweet cherry aroma; taste is mostly apple with a dry, cherry finish; meh....

Aroma - black cherry soda like aroma, some pomaceous fruit as well. Appearance - maize yellow body, with nice nucleation. The head never really developed, only a faint ring. Taste - black cherry is definitely there as is a little pomaceous fruit seems more like pear than apple. Has an artificial nature. Palate - light body, thin feel, average carbonation, dry finish

Pours clear, bubbly golden, no head - but this is cider. Flavor presents cherry and apple tones. Sweet black cherry is the main player in the flavor, very tasty and pleasing. Mouthfeel is firmer than most ciders, and smooth yet fairly fizzy. Cheer for the cherry!

Bottle. For starters, it’s not artificially colored -- or colored at all -- which is a bonus. Cherry ciders so often are mauve, maroon, or some other weird color. That said -- clear gold with no carbonation. Nose is a vivid black cherry with a touch of orange; reminds me of Marasca cherry. Great cherry flavor with a touch of citrus; apple is underneath, with slight effervescence. Long, drier finish, with the fruit staying true. Great.

The McKenzie’s Hard Cider Black Cherry is very dangerous on draft, even though the bottle is very VERY good the draft is even better. Draft is perfectly smooth no after taste no lingering smell it is just the perfect cider on draft.

12 oz bottle from the sampler case. Crisp and clean with a lingering taste of tart cherries. This is the perfect beverage for a cooler fall day.
