COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
McKenzie’s Green Apple Hard Cider has quite the kick. Maybe it’s the delicious crisp, slightly tart bite of green apples or the 6% alcohol.

sample. your avereage cider. Very dry finish and a strong tart apple flavor. I need a cider that finishes dry and this does very well.

Bottle. Pale yellow gold pour with minimal head. Green apple but not as tart as I was expecting. Palate might be a bit thin too. Not bad though.

[5229-20130413] 355mL bottle. Sweet apple fruit aroma has a lovely fragrant strawberry base. Clear, yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Fruity apple strawberry shortcake flavour. Medium body. Really fragrant and fruity, interesting. (8/3/7/3/13) 3.4

Clear yellow pour. Apple, pine, bubblegum aroma. Taste is cheap apple candy and grass.

This pours a clear, light yellow color and no carbonation. The aroma is strong with green apples as the name would suggest. The taste is thin and tart with that classic taste you get from green apples.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours golden with minimal head. Nose is tart apple, more tart of a nose than the original. Tastes tart, with much less sweetness than the original, and I like this one a bit better.

Aroma and taste were tart apple. Thin body. 6% ABV didn’t add anything compared to the 5% ABV in many other ciders.

2013-04-13. Crisp pale yellow body, no head. Aroma is pleasantly fruity, apples, muted alcohol. Flavour is similar, fruity apple, zippy green apple accents. Average palate softly carbonated. Decent, enjoyable. Bottle shared by DuctTape

Bottle graciously presented as a benchmark of humility by UDBeernut. I could not agree more with your rating. While there is a discernible difference from the normal cider, the green apple quickly descends to absurdity of super sugary grape juice blah. On the label it states,: "an American Tradition" I suppose this is true if you believe in sugar subsidies. I’m glad it wasn’t too hot out lately (-9) or I may have slipped into a diabetic coma. I am thankful that I did not have to play UNO as well. Its only fun when your 6 year old niece likes to try and cheat and take two turns at once...then its cute...but only then.
