2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle graciously presented as a benchmark of humility by UDBeernut. I could not agree more with your rating. While there is a discernible difference from the normal cider, the green apple quickly descends to absurdity of super sugary grape juice blah. On the label it states,: "an American Tradition" I suppose this is true if you believe in sugar subsidies. I’m glad it wasn’t too hot out lately (-9) or I may have slipped into a diabetic coma. I am thankful that I did not have to play UNO as well. Its only fun when your 6 year old niece likes to try and cheat and take two turns at once...then its cute...but only then.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Apple nose, neither overly sweet nor tart. Pale yellow, some carbonation clinging to the glass. Neutral apple. Medium body, still. Zero complexity, but I do enjoy the lack of carbonation.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Crystal clear sparkling light golden pour, no head, not much bubble action. Aroma is standard cider, hints of green apples, Standard cider flavor, decent sour apple notes, a hint of vanilla sweetness. Mouthfeel has a decent crispness to it. Nice way to start off a football-watching-beer-sampling Saturday.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a pale straw gold with no head. Virtually no aroma to speak of. The flavor is apples, lightly tart, but with notable residual sweetness present as well. An easy drinking cider like the Original Hard Cider, both of which more closely resemble alcapop.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is sort of in the apple soda category but not too sweet so it’s drinkable. It is clear--maybe very slightly hazed--yellow and headless. This has a mild nose, slightly floral and fruity. There is a good bit of apple skin tannins going on here which helps balance the medium sweetness despite it only being a little bit tart. Flavor is mostly green apple and not too over the top artificial that this in no way the actual taste of fermented apple juice. Definitely, I have had much worse ciders of this style.

sample. your avereage cider. Very dry finish and a strong tart apple flavor. I need a cider that finishes dry and this does very well.
