Slightly too fizzy, light hops aroma, taste is a little bland. Solid enough but certainly nothing special.

Keg at Local Tap House, Melbourne, Victoria. Hazy amber, small head. Gooseberry and caramel up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Cocoa and gooseberry, notes of caramel. Mid bitter finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle) Clear deep, slightly ruddy, golden with almost no head. Gentle interesting aroma with a mix of fruitiness, herbs and a slight flintiness. Light body with good carbonation. Light fruity start with little sweetness developing into a rather aggressive hoppy bitterness, which to me seemed to lack the complex tastes and was somewhat dull and aggressive. Pleasant enough, but doesn’t really do it for me.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Interesting pour. Slight difference in colour from top to bottom. Amber a peak, gold below. Light on nose. Bit of nutty flavour, almost a hint of red wine. Even a cherry finish. Slight bitterness. Nice drop.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rusty gold in colour with a thin lasting white, fruity aroma, lingering bitterness with crisp taste. Not too bad at all.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a grumsy lighr brown colour with a small white head. Biscuits and caramel on the nose, also some earty hints. Flavour is quite the same. Light body with a soft palate. Nothing to be excited about, but a well balanced beer. Overall, it’s an okey beer, nothing more.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Cloudy red-gold, medium head. Sweetish nose of fruity hops, berries, some earthiness. Mouthfeel is smooth but a touch over-carbonated. Nice tart finish. Very pleasant.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle. Best after 291013
Pours a big thick off white head atop a slightly hazy copper body.
Good aroma driven by hops; passionfruit, pineapple, citrus, pine and herbs, with a faint toffee malt undertone.
Full body, high but soft carbonation, chewy texture.
Palate delivers sweet grainy, lightly biscuity malts with hop flavours of citrus, pine and guava. Moderate bitterness to finish.
Nice pale ale, somewhere between an English and American Ipa. I like the drinkability.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a nice rich amber with a thick foamy head that persists well. Good bitterness and citrus flavours but very little sweetness and not super hoppy. I can enjoy two or three before I go searching for greater flavour.
